Four pubs, two hours, and about 0.6 miles (1km) of gentle walking — the sort of distance that suits a pint. The London Pub & Historic Tavern Tour walks you round some of the city’s oldest public houses, including a tavern that survived the Great Fire and the back rooms where poets, playwrights, and the occasional conspirator once argued over a pint.
It’s £29 per person, in small groups, with a local guide telling the stories as you go. Food and drink are at your own expense, which keeps things simple; most guests enjoy three or four drinks over the tour. Come along — we usually have somewhere to sit.

For the whole group. It starts at £289 and rises in steps as the group gets bigger, so you are never paying a separate ticket for each guest. Choose your group size in the booking form and the exact price appears before you pay.
Up to ten hours before the tour starts. A private tour for tomorrow evening is usually still possible if you book it this morning.
Any slot from midday to seven in the evening, including half past two, half past five and half past six. Evening starts are the popular ones, so book those earlier.

No. Drinks are at your own expense, which keeps the tour price down and lets everybody order what they actually want. Most guests have three or four over the two hours. Getting to the meeting point is also on you.
